it's not that hard to look for a reference yourself austin ..and sometimes u really need one..sideways position is pretty hard tho..it still bugs me when i do it...*but my ppl have chinz..XD* but newayz..the blood looks good..u still need some work on the characters tho..

what do u need to work on? proportions-yes..FACE-yes @__@ lol i think u should just sit down one day flip to a new sketchbook page and practice faces..like not body positions or anything (save that for another day)..and just try different kinds of faces..you can use different references too..believe it or not they really do help..if you copied a picture (not trace..but i guess u can trace *shrugs* i don't but w/e) of something from a real anime and then drew the way u usually do you'll probably see what's wrong with the face..

Ok to just say somting i dont care about drawing exactly like anime. i like my style. ya sure i like it to be accepted by many people but i never judge my work on how close it looks like an anime. i want to have the effect where if a person is flipping through a 100 drawings they can point mine out.

Most the time i look how a person drew somting and i try it out later on a sketch. if i trace i just adopt there drawing style. like lets take that one kid who sorta traces a lot from anime who sits on the bench in the morning. (there are more people than him hes just an example) he copies from FMA Negima ect. when i see him draw a regular work he made it looks like it came from FMA.

I just relized after typing this that i sound like a jerk asking for help and yelling at them. sorry...
